9. What is the recommended spacing for rain fed / irrigated / light / medium / heavy soil?
Nuziveedu Seeds after several in-house experiments and trials developed the concept of increasing farm yields by increasing farm yields by increasing plant density by reducing the spacing between the plants in Bt cotton hybrids. It realized that after introgression of Bt gene, the cotton plant becomes more erect and bushy. Erect plant type increases the plant population per acre leading to higher yields per acre/unit of the land.

Our Committed R&D and Biotech department has given a wide range of good products which has helped the farmers to increase their productivity and income.
13. How to maximize the yield and reduce the expenditure?
Selection of right land, selection of very good hybrid from a quality-oriented company, timely sowing, IPM, Recommended spacing, Maintaining correct plant population .An environment for the development of friendly insects. Protect the initial squares – from 45 – 110 days. Use of good quality and right plant protection chemicals only when necessary – depending up on pest population. Right method of spraying timely topping of cotton. Use of required quantity and quality of major and minor nutrients at the right time. Use of growth regulators.

We can increase number of flower by spraying of chemicals like Planofix, Lihocin or DAP + urea, topping and timely plant protection.

14. What is the dosage and timing of micro nutrient application?
It is better to apply 15 to 20 kg of Zinc sulphate /acre or spray 1 kg Zinc sulphate mixed in 200 litres of water thrice on 50 , 60th & 70th day . To avoid reddening of the crop spray 1 kgs of Magnesium Sulphate, 4 kgs DAP, 200-500 gms of Zinc sulphate, 2 kg urea mixed in 200 litres of water on 50th , and 80th day. Or spray Nitrophos Multi K Use of growth regulators: Spray Lihocin 1-2 ml per Spray tank of water and spray during 50,60&70th day.
15. Why farmers need to do topping?
When the crop is 90-100 days old and again after one month for the II flush undertake topping of as it will help in reducing scope of laying eggs by heliothis and also development of bolls, sympodia growing long . First topping at 14th node or 90 days again for II flush do topping at 120 Days encourages more reproductive branches More squares/ more bolls Heliothis egg laying is controlled Good canopy and more bolls.
16. What are the reasons for bad opening of bolls?
Soil salinity Light soil Moisture stress Nitrogen deficiency Dry weather Low humidity during the fruiting period
