NSTL is an ISTA accredited laboratory in India and is well-equipped with all the necessary infrastructure specified by International Seed Testing Association (ISTA). At NSTL, each and every sample is subjected to stringent tests as per ISTA procedures before dispatching lots to the market.
- Well-trained staff conduct GOT and other QC tests.
- Internal audits are conducted periodically.
- Periodical QC checks like random testing of seed analysts and random testing of samples with other Govt. labs are conducted yearly.
- All the equipment in the lab is accurately calibrated every year as per schedule.

The Grow Out Test confirms the genetic purity of a sample. About 36,000 lots or samples are tested over 450 acres of the company GOT farms, located at Nuziveedu, Nizamabad, Guntur,Attur and Kallakal. The tests are carried out under the supervision of well-qualified production staff. The genetic purity of the crop (sample) is assessed by comparing its morphological character with the given check sample. The crop sample should meet the standards specified in the minimum seed certificate standards.
The Quality seed, which passes all the prescribed tests is considered fit for marketing and is sent for further processing & packing.
